Tim Brown

Timothy Brown is a founding member of Blue Roses Productions, as well as its Associate Artistic Director and a resident playwright. His most recent work The Julia Set was produced at the Samuel French Short Play Festival. The Reality Is..., an evening of eight of his short plays, was staged in spring of ‘04 at the Trilogy Theatre. Other plays produced in NYC include: The Persistence of Memory, Bottle of Red, Bottle of White, The Beat Piece, Twelve Minutes After Midnight and Monosyllabic. His adaptation of Tennessee Williams' short story Field of Blue Children as part of Derelicts and Dreamers received rave reviews. His directing credits include: Tennessee Williams' Battle of Angels, A Streetcar Named Desire, compilations Paper Lanterns and Truth in the Guise of Illusion; as well as numerous full-lengths, one-acts and readings across the country. He is an accomplished guitarist and frequently collaborates in sound design with Jeff Duricko. Mr. Brown and Blue Roses’ Artistic Director, Erma Duricko have a collaboration spanning 12 years.
