Erma Duricko

Erma Duricko has directed off and off-off Broadway in NYC and at theatres all across the country. A member of the Society of Stage Directors/Choreographers for over 20 years, she is the founder and Artistic Director of Blue Roses Productions, Inc. and Artistic Associate for Circle East Inc. (formerly Circle Rep). She has received 5 drama critic awards for outstanding direction (3 states), A Cervantes Grant and is the recipient of the Tennessee Williams Award, presented in Mississippi, for Outstanding Contributions Preserving, Promoting and Perpetuating the Work of Mr. Williams. Ms. Duricko is on the national advisory boards for Edward Albee's Last Frontier Playwrights' Conference in Alaska, the Delta Tennessee Williams Festival in Mississippi, a member of the Directors' Company at Tisch/DWP/NYU, The Drama League, listed in Who's Who in Entertainment, the World, and America. As an acting and directing teacher, she has taught at the University of Scranton, Circle East Theater, The Lab Theater, Manhattan Theatre Source, PA Arts Alive, Tiffany Falls and has given master classes across the country on Tennessee Williams. After taking a "break" from directing to nurture and grow with her most precious gifts - son, Jeff and daughter, Marissa - her present directing career is exclusively devoted to nurturing, directing and producing the work of new American playwrights and of course, Tennessee Williams. Erma is married to the love of her life, Allen, and as always, thanks her mentor and artistic "soul mate" Marshall W. Mason, without whose inspiration, guidance and love, her voice might well have been silenced.
